The State Bank of India (SBI) has filed a compliance affidavit in the electoral bonds case before the Supreme Court, following the submission of electoral bonds data to the Election Commission as per the court's directive. In the affidavit filed on Wednesday, SBI disclosed details of electoral bonds purchased and redeemed until February 15, 2024, as per the court's instructions.
According to the data provided by SBI, a total of 3,346 electoral bonds were purchased between April 1, 2019, and April 11, 2019, with 1,609 bonds being redeemed during the same period. Additionally, from April 12, 2019, to February 15, 2024, a total of 18,871 electoral bonds were purchased, with 20,421 bonds being redeemed, as per the SBI data.
